Drum to Table Conversion
This drum has been converted to a coffee table without making any changes to the drum itself – if necessary the table components can be removed and the drum can be used as before.
Wooden ring components have been created for the base and top – these are fixed in place, after careful fitting to the drum, using leather lashings which can be removed if required. The table glass is approximately 60cm in diameter and is fixed using epoxy adhesive to 12 brass takeoff points in the top ring.
The base cost per drum is £300, there may be additional costs for larger or more complex pieces.
